Riffs and Spliffs sampler album review by Fuzzy Cracklins

Riffs and Spliffs sampler from Magnetic Eye Records
Riffs and Spliffs sampler from Magnetic Eye Records
Magnetic Eye Records just dropped their 2018 Riffs and Spliffs sampler. And it's a great one. Psych, stoner, doom, covers, classics ... it's all there. Listen for free and read Fuzzy Cracklin's album review below.....
Worth it just for the @marklanegan cover of Nobody Home. Listen to the whole thing anyway.

All Them Witches, Elephant Tree, Year of the Cobra..... Elder, River Cult, .... this is practically a greatest hits record if you are into stoner, doom, and psych music. And you are.

My favorites:
  • Nobody Home -- Mark Lanegan's Pink Floyd cover is haunting and unique
  • Disease by T-Tops -- very high energy
  • Elder band's Voodoo Child -- well, it's Elder, so there's that right there
  • Horns of War by Sommoner -- stoner doom and the best vocals since Black Sabbath
  • Elephant Tree's Echo is just a flat-out nice stoner tune with a touch of psych
I love a great compilation! Listen to Magnetic Eye Records Riffs and Spliffs 2018 sampler at riffsandspliffs.bandcamp.com
