Uprising & Stoned by A Borrowing Kid Generation
Here's another new release to let you in on before it drops later this week. Listen and read the Fuzzy Cracklins review of the instrumental stoner album Uprising & Stoned from Greece by A Borrowing Kid Generation ......

I've heard the tracks on the new album and they are tough, rough, instrumental stoner rock. Take a listen to A Borrowing Kid Generations's album from earlier this year Days of Deaf Cats to get an idea of what is dropping later this week --

These tracks are just straight-up high-riffage fuzzed-out stoner rock. Tons of energy, catchy grooves, and they carry a melody. My only complaint? There's only two tracks. How to fix that? Wait until the end of this week and get two more tracks.

I like ABKG's music so much I asked him if he would drop a track on my Loud and Lonely vol. 1 compilation of solo musicians which releases in December on Bandcamp. Lucky for us, he agreed and his music gives you an idea of how loud, heavy and bad ass it is going to be.

A Borrowing Kid Generation
A Borrowing Kid Generation is a one-man project by Nikos Raptis of Greece. He's been playing guitar for a long time and took up bass three years ago, and writes & records everything in his home studio with his wife and two kids nearby. (His son drew the cover for ABKG's Learning album.) With all of the riffs and heavy vibes coming out of these tracks you might think this is a three or four person band. You won't be surprised to know the bands he enjoys include Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Corrosion Of Conformity, Fu Manchu, Nightstalker, AC/DC, Sleep, Orange Goblin, 1000mods, Planet Of Zeus ... ok you get the idea. If you are going to take inspiration, you might as well take it from the best.

Head over to Bandcamp and check out his music. Head back at the end of the week when Uprising & Stoned is released.
