The Death Spell harbours a profound concept — to be a proto-raw force, channelling the essence of groove and sound with a minimalist lineup of bass, drums, guitar, and vocals. Their debut album, entirely self-produced, was recorded on tape at the subterranean sanctuary known as Blackdoor Studio, by Daryl Tapsell. Ozan, true to his roots, mixed the album at his own studio, with the finishing touch of mastering expert Angus McNaughton.
