Instrumental stoner "Planet Terror" by Black Sky Giant
If you like your stoner music to land more on the desert side of things, and instrumental, with a bit of psychedelic flair, then BLACK SKY GIANT has just the album for you. "Planet Terror" is a collection of 7 songs with slow, fuzzy riffs with clean guitar solos that sound like they were recorded at the bottom of Death Valley. Add in some choice samples, with a dash of synths, and you have an album which will keep you mesmerized all the way through. Listen to "Planet Terror" on Bandcamp:
It's probably no surprise that Black Sky Giant is from Argentina. This is definitely an album to recommend highly.

Instrumental stoner "Hemerith" EP by Praÿ
Let's keep it real -- sure, most of us really dig some great singing but there are times when you just gotta keep it instrumental. There's something about letting the instruments do the singing which hits the spot. Maybe you want to zone out without the distraction of words, or perhaps you want to focus on the music. Whatever the deal is, instrumental music is one of the highlights of the underground scene. If you're with me on this, then you will absolutely dig "Hemerith" by Praÿ. Fuzzy is a little late getting his ears onto these 2 extended stoner tracks, but it's a new year and time for new tunes. Have a listen to Praÿ and we'll chat afterwards:
Sure, it's only 2 tracks, but with nearly 25 minutes of vibes, there is a lot to dig into here. And Praÿ doesn't waste any time digging in. The heavy riffs start right off with "Faithless Goddess" and keep going through "Widow Of Light." The former is a little cleaner, and the latter is a little fuzzier, but both have a desert rock foundation which is undeniable and exceptionally good.
Each instrument in this trio (bass, guitar, drums) stands out so cleanly in the mix that I would suggest this EP to anyone who asks me, "What's this stoner music thing all about?" It's not too slow or too fuzzy, it's got catchy riffs, and each instrument gets its chance to do its thing. If you have a friend who digs heavy rock but hasn't yet caught the stoner bug, then you need to send them this album. They'll connect with the heavy bass & drums section, or the guitar solos, and feel right at home, but realize there's a lot more going on here than with your typical rock music.
Usually I like to pick out a favorite song, but with only 2 tracks (both equally good), instead I'll point out a favorite section. It's the middle of "Widow Of Light" which splits the song in half with a haunting guitar solo and more of that heavy bass & drums which I dig so much.

Instrumental stoner IKITAN debut single "Twenty-Twenty"
Fuzzy digs instrumental stoner music, extended tracks, and the Italian underground scene. So I'm really digging the debut single "Twenty-Twenty" from IKITAN. Energetic, clean guitar work combined with bass & drums firmly planted in desert rock deliver a long song that is broken up into several distinct sections. Listen to IKITAN's "Twenty-Twenty" on Bandcamp:
The vibe kicks into high gear around the 5:30 mark, with the guitar really taking off and the rhythm section cranking up the fuzz. There's another sonic shift around 8:30 which keeps the energy going with a change in the riff. There's a lot going on in this song rather than being 20 minutes of the same riff. There's another change in direction around 11:30, and so on. My favorite part kicks in just ahead of 14:00.
Overall, "Twenty-Twenty" plays like a mini-suite of songs, and really stands out amongst recent extended instrumental stoner tracks. I'm looking forward to hear what comes next from IKITAN.

The whole set has such a high quality to the music and production that it's hard to pick a favorite track. "Random Constellation" reaches the highest peak in terms of flat-out energy, and "Yellow Monkey" captures the band at its most psychedelic.
The synths add a layer of psych to stoner foundation and sends this album right into heavy psych outer space.
Desert Mammooth band is from Portugal with members:

From the band:
Heavy psych stoner rock quartet from Almada Portugal. In the summer of 2014, a casual talk became something not that casual. Back in their hometown Almada, after a trip that fueled Jaime and César to make music together, they decided to invite Tiago to play the bass and Desert Mammooth was born.
After jamming for a couple of months, they started writing their first songs like Arvoredakara or Yellow Monkey, which are a part of their EP “There’s an Elephant in the Room”, released on October 2016.
Their music is a mix of stoner with psychedelic rock getting close to that doom heaviness in some cases.
In the last 2 years they played together, jamming on top of the hill where the mammoth lives, creating themselves through hypnotic psych stoner rites, picking up nice heavy influences to create far-out landscapes.
April 25th 2018 Desert Mammoth released Random Constellation (single) with Salazar Minibrute playing synths and Random Constellation side B Multi Jam track where everyone exchange seats.

The songs on this EP cover a variety of subjects, such as literature in the song "Cthullu is Coming" influenced directly by the writer H.P. Lovecraft, spirituality in the" Mantra "track and the current themes in" Atomic Curse "that has as its theme nuclear wars. In February 2018 in Nova Venécia, ES countryside -Brazil, started as a simple joke between friends, playing covers of classic rock n roll and blues bands, and gradually evolved into something more serious. It was initially formed by Estevão on guitar, Luis on guitar and Rodrigo on drums, we were looking for a bassist to complete the lineup, was then a friend of the band started in the band, Bruno. I dig that each track is so distinct. There is a sonic theme to tie them all together, but each one really stands out on its own. Shrine of Moloch starts off mysteriously with some Eastern riffs and a choice sample, and then blasts off and lets you know this EP is going to rip. Far Beyond the Tannhäuser Gate has a tempo change which gives it a sense of drama, and also I love the use of samples. Starfish Prime has some huge riffs, but also has some of the most spacey sections too and the guitar work is simply excellent. (I will add there is a sample on the last track but will let you discover it on your own.)
It is difficult to select a favorite track here. The only thing to do is put this on REPEAT and just keep listening.
